The UVA Chamber Singers present an evening concert of Latin American Choral Music at Old Cabell Hall – Friday, November 22nd, at 8:00 pm.
Come hear music from Brazil, Argentina, Cuba, and Bolivia, including an arrangement of the popular song “Son de la loma,” excerpts from Ginastera’s Lamentations of Jeremiah and Ariel Ramirez’s Misa Criolla, and music by Heitor Villa-Lobos, Carlos Fonseca, and César Espada. The concert will also include several solo selections sung by UVA’s singers.
