Henry Myrick

I’m a fourth-year student from Falls Church, Virginia, majoring in Latin American Studies at UVA. My academic work explores social movements, colonization, and climate change across the Americas, supported by fieldwork in Chile, Peru, Mexico City, and Spain. Through these experiences, I’ve developed a global perspective that I continue to deepen here in Virginia. Outside the classroom, I’m active in sailing and love to hike, camp, and ski. As a Student Ambassador, I enjoy connecting with students curious about Latin America and sharing how the region’s histories and cultures have shaped both my studies and future personal path.
