We invite you to a special talk (flyer attached) with Pulitzer finalist, novelist, and New Yorker contributor Francisco Goldman. Levi Vonk (Global Studies) will be in conversation with Goldman about his award-winning nonfiction book The Art of Political Murder, which investigated the murder of Juan José Gerardi Conedera, a priest and human rights activist who was killed while attempting to reveal atrocities committed during the Guatemalan Civil War. The book was also recently made into a documentary by HBO and executive produced by George Clooney.
